I am an integral coach. But that is not how I started out. For the first 25 years of my working life, I was a successful CPA, and an audit partner – first in a local firm and then in a national firm - for 15 years. In 2005 I left that career, and within weeks I was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer. I realized that many of my ideas about who I was, what I cared about, and my life’s purpose no longer served me, and the pain of this realization caused me to explore new paths.
Now, my heart’s passion is to offer life, personal and business coaching to those faced with uncomfortable life transitions - to help transform suffering or misalignment into living a more meaningful life. It is to help people be able to see and act in the world more effectively and powerfully in service of their own higher goals.
I am certified as an Integral Coach by New Ventures West. I am a graduate of the “Generating Transformative Change” program offered by Pacific Integral and the Leadership Institute of Seattle.
I live in Seattle with my husband and my beloved pets, not too far from my grown children and their families. I give time generously to my community. Recent activities include serving as a board member and former board chair of the West Seattle and Fauntleroy YMCA as well as a program volunteer. I’ve served for several years on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer of SeaShare, a national nonprofit hunger relief organization.
I spend as much time as possible with friends, and with my two grown children and their families. I love to sail, hike, cook, read, sing, dance wildly, and garden.
